Awave Audio – Audio Batch Converter
Would you like to convert a music file from one format to another? You can do so with the FMJ-Software-developed application Awave Audio. The application works with just about any audio file format you can imagine. Just to put things in perspective, Awave Audio can read about 90 formats and can write around 60 formats. We could list them all, but it would have to be quite a big list.
My first question was “would you like to convert a music file from one format to another” and we’ve established that you can do that with Awave Audio. Here comes another question: Would you like to convert multiple files at a time from one format to another? You’ve guessed it, you can do so with Awave Audio. The application comes with batch conversion support, meaning it can easily convert multiple files at a time.
Converting files with Awave Audio is a very simple process. All you have to do is go through 3 simple steps. Step 1: select the file or files you would like to convert. Step 2: select the location of the output file, the format of the output, and a few other options. Step 3: start the conversion process and let Awave Audio do its job.
Should you decide to get Awave Audio, there are some technical details you need to know about. First of all, the download weighs in at little over 1 MB – so it should only take a moment to get Awave Audio off the web and onto your computer. Once the download completes, it is time to install the application; Awave Audio works fine with the old but popular Windows XP operating system, the much avoided Windows Vista, and the latest iteration, Windows 7. You can use Awave Audio free of charge only during a trial period of 30 days. Please note that the trial version is limited. It only converts the first 60 seconds of a file, and in batch mode, it only converts the first file.
Awave Audio is a very easy to use batch converter that provides support for an incredibly long list of audio formats.
